Last call for care club bookings for the next half term

Thank you to everyone who has emailed me, there are still a few parents / carers that have previously booked regular slots, who have not asked for provision from Monday.

Please email me regarding bookings on careclub@brownclee.Shropshire.sch.uk

If you do not email, this means you do not have a booking for careclub and will need to contact the office on 01746 712652 for any short notice booking or emailing careclub@brownclee.shropshire.sch.uk for any bookings commencing week 2 of this term.

Wrap around care club commencing Monday 23rd Feb

Thank you to everyone who has emailed me regarding booking for next half term (commencing Monday) your care club bookings have been made.

Please could everyone who wants regular care club provision (even if you have booked regularly in the past) please email me by Friday at the latest. Then I can secure your places. Due to the high numbers of requests for care club last half term and to avoid any disappointment.

Wrap around care for Spring term 2 2026

Please could ALL parents / carers advise me of Wrap around care club requirements for Spring Term 2 (including people who already book regularly).

Due to the popularity of wrap around care, spaces are filling very quickly and it is important we know the daily requirements to ensure we have adequate cover.

If you book regularly and wish to cancel a booking, you may do so by letting me know on careclub@brownclee.shropshire.sch.uk or by ringing 01746 712652 (you will not be charged if you cancel your booking before 7am on the day in question).

Where wrap around care is required at short notice, please call the school office to book in.

Please make sure all requests are made between 8.15 – 3.15 Monday to Friday as requests received outside of these times may not be actioned.

Please also note Weekly clubs are now available to book on ParentPay.

Wrap around care and after school clubs 2026

Next week, clubs will be live on Parent pay for Clubs starting in January 2026.

There will be a fun book club on Monday, a sports clubs on Tuesday, a KS2 drawing club on Wednesday, Create Club on Thursday and a sport club on Friday.

Please let me know your wrap around care club requirements from January, even if you already regularly book care.

Please also remember to contact us to cancel any wrap around care that you do not require to avoid being charged for those sessions.

In addition, please remember that care club invoices are due for payment within 2 weeks from the date of Invoice, failure to pay invoices in a timely manner may result in care club facilities being withdrawn until balances are brought up to date, or arrangements are in place.

Please note from January all morning bookings will be charged from the time booked. Please advise of any cancelled bookings with two days notice to avoid charges.

also please book care club with at least two days notice to avoid disappointment as we are usually fully booked and may need to book additional staff to adhere to your request

Wrap around club – grab bags

From next week (week commencing 13th October) we will be trialling booking and paying for grab bags through parent pay.

There will be a comments section where you can request which sandwich you would like (cheese, ham, jam, tuna or egg)

Grab bags are available for afterschool care club and are priced at £1.50 per bag.
