Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Brown Clee CE Primary School we value all our children as ‘unique’ individuals and endeavour to enable each child to achieve their full potential, whatever their ability or specific needs. Our work is guided by our commitment to equality for all and ensuring that all our children feel fully included and valued members of our school community.
As part of The Children and Families Act 2014, the Government issued a Green Paper, which announced that they wanted to improve the special educational needs system. This is to provide better outcomes for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities and to improve the experience of parents/carers when securing support for their children.
Our Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) is Mr. Harley. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress please talk to or email your child’s class teacher or contact school to arrange an appointment.
