Class 1 Well Done Award for Children at Home.

Good morning to all the children who are still at home. I hope you are all well. I have been amazed with the work some of you have produced during your time at home. Some of you have been working extremely hard at home and are continuing to do so. I felt that as we are acknowledging the achievements of the children in school, the children at home should also be acknowledged for their work. Until the end of term, I will be awarding a Well Done Award to the children who are still at home. This week the certificate goes to Jake Clarke for his resilience and motivation. Well done Jake!

Home Activities

Have a look at what Teddy has been doing at home this week…

He has been practising his phonics, reading, coin recognition in maths and has made a super Lego model.

Rabbits and Foxes

The rabbits and foxes have been busy this week.

They have independently been making models of lighthouses. They have had a PE challenge to complete and Maths has been using addition buses for counting on and first, then and now stories.

Foxes and Rabbits – Sandwiches

The children have been planning and making  their favourite sandwich as part of our work on the Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. They all did extremely well making their sandwiches by themselves. They also  really enjoyed eating them!

Ooops!

Good Morning Class 1!

I need to apologise because I forgot to put Ella’s work onto the class page on Friday. Ella I am VERY sorry.

Miss Greenan.

Note for parents of Foxes and Rabbits (reception children in school)

Please check your child’s school bag this evening. They have been planning a sandwich in school today. They have brought home a list of the ingredients they will need.

We will be making the sandwiches on Monday 15th June. Please ensure your child brings in the ingredients they need. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide any for them.

Many thanks

N. Fox

Sun Safety

Good Morning!  We are looking forwards to welcoming some more children back to school tomorrow, and with this fantastic weather looking to continue for a couple of days, we would like to remind you of the importance of ensuring that children have had sun screen applied before they come to school, and that they will need to bring a sun hat with them.  We will be getting children outside as much as possible, so protection from the sun is important.

Children can also bring sun screen into school, but will need to be able to apply it themselves.  Remember that school uniform is not required – so cool clothing that offers some sun protection is advisable – oh and no open toe sandals please for safety!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
