Great First Full Week!

Well done reception for a great first full week in school! You are all adjusting extremely well to the new routines in school.

Please find below a selection of pictures from this week. For more pictures, please remember to check your tapestry account. When a new picture or observation of your child is loaded, you should receive a notification via email.

Welcome to Class 1!

I would like to wish everyone a big, warm welcome to Class 1!

It has been lovely today to meet some of the new reception children today. I was very  impressed by the way they all came into school. They were brilliant.

I am really looking forward to meeting the rest of Class 1 tomorrow!

I have sent all parents an activation link to Tapestry. Please check your emails to activate the link. This will be a way for us to communicate to parents about what their children have been doing in school.

For further information about what the learning that will be taking place this term, please click on the link below.

Autumn 1 2020-21 overview

Please note that PE days will be Wednesday and Friday. Please ensure your child comes to school in their outdoor PE kit on these days (school green PE top, dark tracksuit bottoms and top and trainers- no laces please.) PE sessions will start next week.

As the cloakrooms are out of use, children will have to keep their bags under their tables. Children will need to bring a small bag which can fit in their reading book and a water bottle.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to email me-

Many thanks

Brown Clee Sports Day.

The end of the Summer term is not the same without a sports day…. so we held a (very different) sports day for the children currently in school. All the children had a great time! Here are some photos of the Foxes and Rabbits enjoying their races.

Dress Up Like a Pirate- Thursday 16th July

The children are thoroughly enjoying their pirate themed week. To enhance their experience, on Thursday, the children can come into school dressed as a pirate. Please do not feel it necessary to buy a new costume. There are lots of great ideas on the internet which can be made using things from home.

If children at home would like to join in and dress up like a pirate, that would be great. We would love to see your photos!

Yo ho ho,

Mrs Fox

Class 1 Well Done Award for Children at Home.

Good morning to all the children who are still at home. I hope you are all well.

I have been amazed with the work some of you have produced during your time at home. Some of you have been working extremely hard at home and are continuing to do so.

I felt that as we are acknowledging the achievements of the children in school, the children at home should also be acknowledged for their work. Until the end of term, I will be awarding a Well Done Award to the children who are still at home.

This week the certificate goes to Jake Clarke for his resilience and motivation. Well done Jake!

Sandwich making Monday

Good afternoon,

I hope you have all had a good weekend!

This is just to remind parents of reception children in school, ( Foxes and Rabbits) that they will need to bring their sandwich ingredients in tomorrow.

Many thanks

Note for parents of Foxes and Rabbits (reception children in school)

Please check your child’s school bag this evening. They have been planning a sandwich in school today. They have brought home a list of the ingredients they will need.

We will be making the sandwiches on Monday 15th June. Please ensure your child brings in the ingredients they need. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide any for them.

Many thanks

N. Fox
