You will have received an email today to inform you that we have had some more cases of Covid19 in school. The cases have been in Fireflies and Grasshopper classes. We have been in discussion with Shropshire Health Protection and been advised to implement some Step Up measures temporarily until the situation becomes clearer. Therefore from tomorrow:-
- Start of Day: Dragonflies and Scorpions to arrive via Top Gate / Fireflies and Grasshoppers to arrive via main entrance – but to maintain 2m social distancing.
- End of Day: As normal, arriving via main entrance and leaving via top gate but ensuring social distancing and please leave the playground promptly.
- Care Club will be held in the hall.
- Gymnastics Club will take place for KS2 children – in classroom.
- There will be no extra-curricular clubs this week.
- Swimming will take place.
- School meal menus may have to be adapted as some classes will be eating in the classrooms.
We are hopeful that these measures will only be in place for a week and will help to reduce transmission.
