Bags
Children need to bring their daily belongings in one bag, which they will store in their cubby in the class cloakroom. Water bottles, reading books and glasses (if they wear them) should be taken into the classroom at the beginning of each day.
Water bottles & healthy snacks
Please ensure that children have a water bottle with a non-spill top with them every day. These should be filled with water only, unless the school have been notified otherwise.
Children may also bring a healthy snack into school to eat at breaktime should they wish to.
Homework
- Read regularly, ideally daily
- Practise times tables (verbally, written, and on Times Table Rockstars)
- Practise spellings. Children will be set a list of 10 spellings on Spelling Shed each Friday, to practise during the week for the following Friday. The full 3&4 and 5&6 word lists are also available on Spelling Shed should your child wish to do any further practice.
Links to Times Tables Rockstars and Spelling Shed can be found below. See Letter outlining homework expectations for expectations and Homework Policy for further details. Children may also like to practise by writing things down rather than using a screen.
