We would just like to say thank you to parents and children for helping us to make today successful! The start and end of day procedures worked well, and now that we have trialled them for a day, should run smoothly in the future.
The children have hopefully had an enjoyable day despite the social distancing measures, and we have all been so impressed with their positive response to the new systems. It has been so lovely to see the smiley faces of everyone around school!
A couple of learning points…..it is really helpful for children to have their belongings in one simple big bag to allow them ease of carrying and cleaning hands. Also, thank you to parents for collecting children and leaving the playground promptly at the end of the day (Reception and Year 1).
We did notice that children got a bit hungry mid morning, so please feel free to send a hard fruit eg apple, pear, in within your child’s packed lunch, that they can have as a morning snack.
