We are in the process of planning for September, and it would be really helpful to know if any parents absolutely do need school transport.
Our main control measure is keeping children in their class groups, or ‘bubble’ as the government refers to it – and therefore the use of school transport could compromise these bubbles.
We would appreciate if where possibly, children are driven or walk to school, but also understand that for some parents, school transport might be an absolute necessity.
Once we have these numbers we can then inform Shropshire Transport, who we are hoping can do their best to maintain the security of class groups.
