In this growing age of technology and online communication, it is becoming increasingly difficult for children to keep safe online. Here are some links with advice on ways to achieve this – as well as some information of some of these potential dangers.

Gaming and Social Media are two places where it has been found, if not used safely, children can be at particular risk. As well as the risk to exposure to inappropriate content, unwanted contact, cyberbullying and online grooming, recent research has found that both (if not used safely) can have a significantly negative impact on a child’s emotional and mental well-being – including social pressures, impacting their views on how they should behave and what they should value.
