Our challenge: To run the length of the Nile that runs through Egypt!
The Nile is approximately 4,160 miles long but only 22% of it runs through Egypt. It runs through several other countries on it’s journey. Can you find out which ones?
If, as a class, we can run around 83 miles a week for the 11 weeks of the summer term, we will have run the equivalent distance to the length of the Nile that passes through Egypt, which is approximately 915 miles.
What have we achieved so far?
Week 1: 92 miles
