After testing different materials for their absorbency, we then tested 4 different types of dishcloth. On the packaging they all claimed to be ‘Super Absorbent’. We tested them by submerging the dishcloth into a pot of water for 3 seconds and then squeezing out the water into a transparent plastic cup. We put labels up the side of the cups so we could mark where the water went up to. We made it a ‘fair test’ by making the dishcloths all the same size and submerging them in the water for the same amount of time.
