Good Morning Brown Clee!

Today we continue to think about our Value of the half Term – Thankfulness.  We have been thinking about all the wonderful things that we have to be grateful for such as the countryside, animals, birds and sunshine.  But we also have to be thankful for our health, especially at these times, when there are so many people suffering.

There is a story in Luke, in the New Testament that retells the story of the Thankful Leper.

Prayer of the Day

Heavenly Father,
We thank you for all the people who care for our needs and the needs of others.
We pray for all who work in hospitals and doctors’ surgeries today.
Please help them in their work and keep them safe.

Teach us to show our gratitude for what we have
By caring for those around us,
And for the wonderful world in which we live.
Amen.
