Good Morning Brown Clee!

This week we have been setting up Archie’s big idea to raise money to support Karibuni Children by having a Kenyan Safari Challenge and travelling 2141 miles in 7 days as a school team!  His awesome idea has already raised £278.75 and it has only been up and running for 2 days!!

Today I have a short video where ‘Kid President’ shares his thoughts about “How to change the world?”  Before you watch it have a think about how would you change the world and why?   What would you need to change the world?  What sort of things could you do to change the world?

What did you learn?

I picked out these key phrases:

“The World is changed by you!”

“The World is changed by ordinary people”

“Little people living out big love”

So how can we change the world? Archie wants to make a difference to the world by helping the children living in poverty in Kenya – and I think that is a brilliant idea – an awesome idea!

What could you do to change the world?  Sometimes it doesn’t have to be big  – it can be as small as a smile and making someone feel better.  You don’t have to be a King or rich, you don’t have to be powerful, you just have to be YOU!

Dear Lord,
Thank you for the world that you have created, which we share with other people.
Please help us to appreciate and celebrate the gifts of others.
Thank you for the people who help us every day.
Please help each of us to play our parts in the community and wider world.
