” I just wanted to do a quick email to say that I thought the session that you kindly put together the other week, on parents to help their children read, was extremely useful.

Initially I was a bit sceptical as my view was very much that I already know how to help my son read and what value it would add. I was totally wrong and the session gave me a really good understanding on how the children are taught phonics in school and the importance of using the same methods at home.

The importance of making your child break down and blend words together, and not just telling them, which I was doing.
