I have recently had a couple of queries regarding handwriting. I thought it may be useful to share the information with all Class 1 parents so everyone is aware of the school’s handwriting policy.
Reception are taught to write with lead outs only. Year 1’s progress to using lead ins and lead outs. Here are a couple of links which explain it in more detail.
