Today in Class 4, we explored the “times tables” sequences by finding the digital root of each number in the sequence [e.g. 3×7=21; the digital root would be 3 (2+1)]. After finding the digital root of several numbers in a times tables, each digit (1-9) was given a colour and a paper chain was made from the resulting pattern.
For example, the digital root sequence of the 8 times table was 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 9 (which would then continue to repeat itself).
