Our stocks of school sport tops appear to be very low. We are struggling to send teams with matching tops to events. Could everyone please check at home for any of these tops and return them to school after half term. Can these tops be returned as soon as possible after each sporting event. Please do not keep them at home for forthcoming events because they may be needed for other events taking place in the meantime.
Please note the change of date for Sports Day.
Sports Day will now take place on Thursday 12th July 10am – 1:30pm.
See school events on website for further details.
On Thursday 22nd March 9 girls from class 4 took part in the KS2 Girls Football Tournament at Oldbury Wells School. The girls were very nervous going into the tournament but as they started playing their confidence grew and they all worked well together. In the first game they unfortunately lost against St Leonard’s but they bounced back and were able to win against St Mary’s Bluecoat with a score of 4-0. Special recognition goes to Daisy for scoring 3 fantastic goals and to Phoebe and Holly for being very strong in defense. In goal for the Brown Clee team was Sophie. Sophie was always on her toes and alert trying to do the very best she could for the team and was extremely brave throughout the games as its always hard being in goal!
The girls managed to make it to the quarter finals where they just missed out on making it to the semi finals as they lost to Broseley.
Well done to Jessica, Maddison, Phoebe, Holly, Sophie, Claudia, Frankie, Daisy and Niamh.

Ashton, Nathan, Charlie, Niamh, Jessica, Tom Cass, Tom O, Seth and Louis took part in the KS2 Small Schools Tag Rugby. After winning the East Shropshire Partnership tournament we knew we had a strong team and had confidence going into the tournament. The first game was against Burton Borough and the team had a brilliant start winning that game 6-1. This was then followed by another impressive win against Shrewsbury 8-2 and another victory against Langley 7-0. The next match was a very important one as we were up against one of the strongest teams in the competition and the favorites to win the tournament. After a very close game Brown Clee managed to beat South Shropshire 4-3 which was a brilliant achievement. Unfortunately in the final match the team lost their rhythm slightly and lost their final match against North Shropshire.
Overall the team came 2nd, an absolutely brilliant achievement and every single member of the team should be proud of their performance. Top try scorers were, Seth, Tom, Louis and Jessica.
Congratulations to Harry, Daisy, Phoebe, Charlie, Ashton, Tom, Lorcan and Louis for recent success in the KS2 Dodgeball tournament.
